About me…

I’ve held a variety of jobs in the art world, from production to Art Director. This variety has been a blessing because I learned firsthand how to find practical and cost-effective solutions to challenges while creating award winning designs.

I started by getting a bachelor's degree (BFA) from the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD). Since then, I have worked at a large newspaper, ad agency, art studio, regional park district, and importer in addition to my freelance assignments. Each of these businesses provided me with opportunities to learn unique skills that I apply to my current projects.

Computer literate, I work in a variety of current software. I am also literate in the traditional sense, and write and edit copy for everything from advertisements, displays, board reports, newsletters, research, and manuals.

I am experienced, multi-disciplined, and deadline-oriented.  I’m a firm believer that clear communication is the best way to satisfy clients’ needs, and to get ideas produced in a professional manner.

My art and packaging has won numerous awards, has been seen on television stations including ABC, CBS, QVC, The Food Network, and PBS, and has been highlighted in print publications including The New York Times, Epicurious, and Fabulous Foods..

Quality matters!

It's nice to get awards, but what really matters is results. My designs have brought profits to my customers with increased sales. Practical design solutions reduce initial costs for those customers, which adds to their bottom lines. Beautiful packaging inspires sales in ways that a plain cardboard box never will. Well designed brochures, newsletters, catalogs, and reports can bring information to the consumer in ways that inspire them to read it. Beauty for its own sake is a wonderful thing, but in business, beauty sells!
